If translations aren't appearing when you select text, try these steps:

• Refresh the page and select the text again.
• Click the Sori icon in your browser toolbar to make sure the extension is enabled.
• Check your daily quota in the extension popup. If you've reached your limit, translations will resume the next day.

Some websites use custom text rendering that can interfere with text selection. If the issue only happens on a specific site, try selecting text on a different page to confirm.

Note: If the problem persists after trying these steps, let us know the website URL and what you were trying to translate.

The Sori popup appears automatically when you highlight text on a webpage. If it's not showing up, check the following:

• Make sure the extension is turned on by clicking the Sori icon in your browser toolbar.
• Try selecting text on a different website. Some sites block extensions from running.
• Check that you haven't accidentally disabled Sori on that specific page.

If the popup was working before and suddenly stopped, try reloading the page. Browser updates can occasionally interrupt extensions.

Note: The popup won't appear on Chrome internal pages (chrome://, chrome-extension://) or on the Chrome Web Store.

If the Sori extension isn't loading at all, follow these steps to troubleshoot:

• Go to chrome://extensions in your browser.
• Find Sori and make sure the toggle is turned on.
• Try disabling the extension, then re-enabling it.
• If that doesn't help, remove the extension and reinstall it from the Chrome Web Store.

Conflicts with other extensions can also cause loading issues. Try disabling other extensions temporarily to see if that resolves the problem.

Note: After reinstalling, you'll need to log in again to restore your account and subscription.

Translation accuracy can vary depending on the language pair and the context of the text. Here are some things to keep in mind:

• Slang, abbreviations, or domain-specific terminology can be harder to translate accurately.
• Some language pairs have fewer training resources, which can affect quality.
• Idiomatic expressions may be translated literally rather than by meaning.

If you're seeing consistently wrong results for a specific language, please share the original text, the target language, and what translation you expected. This helps us improve.

If you're having trouble signing in, try the following:

• Make sure you're using the exact email address you signed up with.
• Check that your password is correct. Passwords are case-sensitive.
• If you forgot your password, click "Forgot Password?" on the login page to receive a reset link by email.

If you signed up using a different email than you remember, try any other email addresses you may have used.

Note: After 5 failed login attempts, your account may be temporarily locked for security. Wait a few minutes and try again.

Verification emails are sent immediately after you sign up. If you haven't received one, try these steps:

• Check your spam, junk, or promotions folder.
• Search your inbox for emails from noreply@sori-translator.com.
• Make sure you entered your email address correctly during signup.

If you still can't find the email, try signing up again with the same email address. A new verification email will be sent.

Note: Some email providers may delay delivery by a few minutes. If it's been more than 10 minutes, try the steps above.

Password reset emails usually arrive within a few minutes. If you haven't received one:

• Check your spam, junk, or promotions folder.
• Search your inbox for emails from noreply@sori-translator.com.
• Make sure you're entering the same email address you used to create your account.

If the email still doesn't arrive, try adding noreply@sori-translator.com to your contacts, then request a new reset link.

Note: Reset links expire after 24 hours. If your link has expired, you'll need to request a new one.

You can delete your account directly from your Account Settings. Here's how:

• Go to your Account page.
• Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
• Click "Delete Account" and follow the verification steps.

You'll receive a 6-digit verification code by email to confirm the deletion. Enter the code to proceed.

Note: Account deletion is permanent. Your translation history and account data will be removed. Any active subscription will be automatically canceled.

If your subscription isn't showing up in the extension, try these steps:

• Make sure you're logged in with the same account you used to subscribe.
• Open the Sori extension popup and check your subscription status at the bottom.
• Try logging out and logging back in to refresh your session.

If it still shows the free tier after logging back in, your payment may not have been processed. Check your email for a payment confirmation from Stripe.

Note: It can take up to a minute for your subscription to activate after payment. If you just subscribed, wait a moment and refresh.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Account Settings:

• Go to your Account page.
• Click "Manage Subscription" to open the billing portal.
• Select "Cancel Subscription" and confirm.

After cancellation, you'll keep access to your paid features until the end of your current billing period. You won't be charged again.

Note: If you change your mind, you can resubscribe at any time from your Account page by clicking "Manage Subscription".

You can upgrade your plan at any time to get a higher daily word quota and more Smart Lookups. Here's how:

• Go to the Pricing page to compare plans.
• Select the plan you want and complete checkout.
• Your new quota will be active right away, and any remaining days on your current plan will be prorated.

If you're already subscribed and want to switch tiers, you can also manage your plan from the Account page by clicking "Manage Subscription".

Note: It can take up to a minute for your new tier to appear in the extension. Try logging out and back in if it doesn't update right away.

As stated in our Terms and Conditions, all payments are final and non-refundable.

If you no longer want to be billed, you can cancel your subscription at any time from your Account page by clicking "Manage Subscription". You'll keep access to your paid features until the end of your current billing period, and you won't be charged again.

Note: Before subscribing, we recommend trying the free tier to make sure Sori fits your needs.

Sori currently supports 123 languages, and we're always looking to expand. If there's a language you'd like us to add, we'd love to hear about it.

When submitting your request, it helps if you can share:

• The name of the language.
• How you'd primarily use it (translation, dictionary, or both).
• Any specific dialects or regional variants you need.

We prioritize new languages based on user demand, so every request counts.

We use AI-powered translations that are continually improving. If you've noticed quality issues, here's how to help us fix them:

• Share the original text and the translation you received.
• Let us know the source and target languages.
• Describe what the correct translation should be, if you know it.

Certain types of content can be harder to translate accurately, including idioms, technical jargon, and very short phrases without context. Selecting longer passages often produces better results.

We love hearing ideas from our users. When describing your feature request, it helps to include:

• What the feature would do.
• How you'd use it in your workflow.
• Any examples from other tools that do something similar.

We read every suggestion and use them to shape our roadmap. While we can't implement every idea, popular requests get prioritized.

You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you under privacy laws like GDPR, CCPA, APPI, and PIPA. We're happy to provide it.

To process your request, please include in the form:

• The email address on your Sori account.
• Confirmation that you are submitting this request from that same email address (this helps us verify your identity).
• Your region or country, if you'd like us to apply a specific privacy law.

We'll respond within 30 days with an export of your account data, including your profile, usage records, and subscription information. For billing history and invoices, you can also access these directly through the Stripe billing portal from your Account page.

Note: For your security, we will never send personal data without first verifying that the request comes from the account owner.

If any of the personal information we hold about you is inaccurate or out of date, you can ask us to correct it. This is your right under GDPR, CCPA, APPI, PIPA, and similar laws.

Most updates can be done yourself from your Account page (such as changing your password). For other changes, please include in the form:

• The email address on your Sori account.
• What information needs to be corrected and what it should be.
• Confirmation that you are submitting this request from your account email.

Important for Google sign-in users: If you created your account with "Sign in with Google," your email address is managed by Google and is part of how you log in. We cannot manually change the email on your Sori account without breaking your ability to sign in. Gmail addresses cannot be changed by Google. Your options are to (a) sign up for a new Sori account with a different email, or (b) contact us if you have an active subscription you'd like to migrate to a new account.

This option is for any other privacy-related request, such as:

• Objecting to or restricting how we process your data.
• Withdrawing consent you previously gave.
• Exercising specific rights under your regional privacy law (GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA in California, APPI in Japan, PIPA in Korea, or others).
• Opting out of analytics or other non-essential processing.
• Any other concern about how your personal data is handled.

To help us respond quickly, please include:

• The email address on your Sori account.
• Your region or country, if you're invoking a specific law.
• A clear description of what you're asking for.

We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
